How long is a piece of string? Everyone learns differently and at different time frames. We understand that and support each students individual needs. There are many variables that influence the number of lessons required. A good way to begin is to have a few lessons at the very start to be shown some basics and then go and practice those skills with a qualified supervising driver whilst you build up some on road experience and confidence. When you have built up most of your hours and nearing your 12 months on your L’s it is time to see us again to prepare you with the skills and knowledge to drive to the government standard and pass your Vort test.
There is no one glove fits all when it comes to driver training and we have a flexible approach to suit any situation.
Yes we will pick you up and drop you off anywhere around your local area.
Yes we can. Flexible arrangements to suit the client are available.
You will need your learners permit or if you are an overseas licenced driver you will need that along with photo id. You may already have your Temporary Driving Permit, if so bring that as well.
Your log book – the Driving Companion.
Shoes with a heel. No bare feet or thong type shoes.
Your lesson fee for when you meet the driving instructor.

The test is done in the Give Way Driving School vehicle; feel safer and more confident that the car you train in is the one you do the test in!
The day of the test we will pick you up for a 60 minute refresher lesson before the test where we practice the manoeuvres and general driving. This is our chance to both relax and prepare you for the test. We then take you straight to the test starting location where you meet the examiner and proceed with the test in GWDS’s car. Upon completion of the test we then drive you home.
